Mouse on desktop, finger on a phone. The bright gold dot is your head; the glowing chain behind it is your tail.
Swing fast. The tail is your only weapon.
A slow tail just nudges things aside. A fast tail pops them. Sharp turns and figure-eights whip the tip hardest; when it goes white-hot it cracks a shockwave.
Protect the head.
Anything that touches the gold dot costs a heart. You have three. The tail itself can't be hurt, so lead with it.
Chain pops for combos.
Pops within about a second of each other build the multiplier, up to x10. Pink links lengthen your tail; hearts heal.

Pause, flash, then lunge at your head. Whip them during the pause.

Shrug off slow hits. Only a true crack breaks the shell.
