Plant a Melody

A garden bed that plays music. There's no score, nothing to lose, and no wrong notes: every row is tuned to sound good with every other.

• Tap the soil to plant a seed. Tap it again to pull it up. Drag to plant a whole run.
• Press Play. Sunlight sweeps along the bed, and every plant it reaches sings.
• Plants grow each time they play: seed, sprout, bud, bloom. The fuller they grow, the richer they sound.
• Let it grow and the blooms drop seeds of their own, so the tune keeps changing while you listen.
• Seasons change the key and the colours. New tune plants a fresh seed packet. Share copies a link to your song.

Today's seed packet is already in the ground. Press Play to hear it.
